Messi tax fraud implications

With last season's injury and the frailty of Barca at the moment he's looking like someone deep in thought.... He'll move next season no doubt, but it could be the right time for Barca to move him on also.

He along with his Dad have pretty much handpicked the new Barca manager, even Martino has pretty much said so.

Until Barca start using Neymar as the new poster boy and having the team built around him I don't see Messi moving anywhere.

And they wonder why Spain as a country is in a state of economic disrepair.

Why would a transfer fee include income tax? And I'm no mathematician but 56% of 250 isn't 330.

Edit: He's on about his tax-free wages, isn't he? No problem.

Thanks Sandro for confirming Messi is buyable.

No, but £330m is 56% of £580m (when rounded up to the nearest £10m). The £250m is the "what remains after 56% tax is taken away" figure.

...but yes, minimum fee release clauses don't work that way usually.

For this to even start to happen I reckon Messi would have to hand in a transfer request and refuse to play for the club, then there would be the biggest auction on the planet and a transfer thread to end all transfer threads. Samaritans would definitely need to be on standby for this forum. :-)
