Regarding whether he wants to stay with Bremen, I've read his contract is up in 2011 and so far he's refused to sign an extension deal. He's hinted at looking for a big move and is expected to go somewhere this year ( Bremen probably need to cash him in this summer if hes not gonna be staying).

He had the highest completed pass percentage in the Bundesliga of any player this year. Pretty much exactly what we need. Can play on the wing, creative, fast, tall, used to a physical european league.

I had hoped that Mancini had been working on this deal pre WC, but we shall have to see.

A great signing if it happened, but bigger clubs may start looking at him if he continues performing in a similar manner.
If they are willing to pay pretty big money for him, then he'll probably be as good as theirs.

Its so fustrating. We along with the rest of the world knows we're going to get their eventually, but instead we're putting bids in for Milner who I don't rate much higher than Ireland.

But you never know, we signed Robinho 2 years ago. No one saw that coming, fingers crossed.
