I rarely get the tram but the one I was on from St Peter’s Square was dangerously overcrowded. I asked Arsenal fans to stop pushing on and after a bit they stopped. Any more on the tram and somebody would have got hurt. I was holding on to the pole one handed but was prepared to lash out with my other fist to stop an accident.It is 15+ minutes at the Etihad just to get a tram to Piccadilly station, then another wait of up to 20 minutes for an Altrincham tram which usually are single units. There is no doubt that the people running the trams are deliberately fucking over City fans.

Overcrowding and then stopping at New Islington to let more folk on did not help in that case.You should have seen the chaos after the Arsenal FA Cup game getting ho.e was a nightmare
They stopped the tram at New Islington as it couldn't carry the numbers had to await a further 25 mind freezing to be allowed onto another!
This is why I get taxis home after a night match. Can’t trust the tram to get me home at a reasonable time when I have work the next day.You should have seen the chaos after the Arsenal FA Cup game getting ho.e was a nightmare
