Metrolink..

They should have consulted before putting them up and removed them in July when people were being told to return to work.

I bet when if they get 99% responses saying remove, that the twats keep the cones up and suggest a permanent cycle way, completely ignoring that the Bridgewater canal path offers the same off road ability and is ready to use now
What hang on a minute. I have given up walking my dog along the canal because of the ignorant cyclists. I stopped using it to WALK along otherwise one day one of them is going into the canal ( just a slight nudge as they race past,)
For a start how dear is a bell ? And the speed they go, they should be on Chester Road.

Are you The Pusher ?

I quite agree with you, the wankers in Lycra who speed down the path thinking everyone else should get out of the way, or go round blind bends without dinging a bell to warn people of their presence should be taken out by an assassin. It would not take much to split the path into Cyclist / Pedestrians (or hire an assassin!)

I mentioned the option as a traffic free route exists. At the moment 50% of road capacity is lost for the handful of cyclists who use the route v thousands of cars each day. If Cyclists want right of ways on roads fine, but they should be made to take out insurance and pay towards the cost of the infrastructure.

With you all the way, the cones on Chester Road are a joke I've hardly ever seen a cyclist in their new lane.

I will be the assassin by the way
