Waiting for Axelrod to return...
I have been a constant critic, a lot of criticism has been aimed your way from me in recent seasons.

It's certainly a long time since you came on as a sub, shouting the odds in that Far East tour, and I thought to myself, 'We might have a player here.'

There were glimpses, we know the games.

The football intelligence to go with your frame, I shall remain one of your biggest sceptics in that score.

But when you have that physical power, added to what I'm convinced, is an improved attitude, it can take you a very long way.

Richards appears to have responded to the criticisms and increased competition, and has been excellent for weeks.

But your belief shone through at the shithole. Keep it going, son.

And welcome back, you might just covert a few more of us.

I'm not gonna give a full on apology yet because there were times when Illegitimate Giggs skinned him, but he was much better on Saturday

love it when he bursts into a sprint and goes past people.I refused to slag him off when he wasn't playing well,i so want one of the lads that came through the ranks to build a successful career at City.

Totally agree mate - he's looked every bit the player who could hold down that right-back spot for us for years to come in these last few games - he's certainly got age on his side in that respect.

Its that concentration that has always been a worry for me, but he looks to have improved considerably in these last few games. If he can genuinely show that he can consistently stay switched on for the full 90 minutes, plus ET!, then we've got a hell of a player on out hands. And one of our own to boot.

I don't mind admitting I've been one of his fiercest critics in the past. But with good reason: in some games he was abysmal. Not even Championship quality. But credit where it's due, of late he's shown glimpses of the player he was before all the DJ'ing and bling-lifestyle went to his head.

i think mancini should think about dumping him from right-back to a more elevated winger role

just like bale if you like.

Some of us were unconvinced about Micah (too much too soon perhaps?)

Others also questioned Mancini's handling of the lad?

And then big questions have been asked about the value of having Vieira at the club.

I will let you all join the dots there ;-)

But welcome back the real Micah in any case, you have been missed.

(and how's about another FA Cup goal and a swear word or two in the post match?)

Irrespective of Giggs age,Micah wont be and hasn`t been the only good full back, who at times Giggs turned inside out at times.
Sometimes you`ve got to give credit.Having said that,a lot of Giggs crossing was piss poor, thankfully, with only one decent ball that the Scotch prick headed safely into Harts hands.
Micah is slowly getting back to his old form IMO.

in your defence he has played like a twot (re:- none rude names thread) for a long time. i always thought he still had the ability but he hid it well. at one point it was as if he was afraid to actually get a tackle in. he now seems to be getting back to his best as shown against the scum. he seems to have found his aggression and his pace and if he carry`s on showing his best the problem right back position is sorted.
