Micah Richards the pundit

While he is adopting a more confirmative approach,he still remains a breath of fresh air in regards both his outlook and his positivity, especially where we are concerned.

Let's not demonise one of our own, when we have been crying out for such a presence and the balance he provides.

is it all an act between the pair of them or is Micah seriously trying to provoke the pikey into having a pop? My money would be in Micah
Everything on tele is heavily scripted TV execs hate ad lib stuff, compare Micah to other ex-players and he is no-where near the worst.

I had to turn the aftermatch off yesterday once I seen Neville added to the studio pundits. Straight away it was turned into City’s fault that United didn’t win and Micah sat between the two gimps having to fight our corner. He was doing a decent job of it but the bile the other 2 spouted was just too much for me to have any further interest.

Did Sky forget that United were the home team?

Micah was also trying to defend the Pogba situation and made himself look an idiot.

To be fair I took more as a general acceptance that they are complete pish so the onus is on us to provide the quality............

As I said, I turned off so didn’t see that. Not sure what situation you are inferring so cannot comment. However, Micah knows which way his bread is buttered and will most certainly toe the Sky ’entertainment’ line to keep himself in a job.

We played a mid table, average team yesterday and we were poor.

We should be going to this Rag team and take their pants down and give them a good hiding with the diffrence in quality.

If that’s your view then I suppose there’s no debate to be had.

Stay frosty.

I seen it as a backhanded compliment really. They were accepting the mediocrity they’ve become but expecting more from City. I felt the same although we need to be very careful as we’re fast heading that way. Few more average 60m signings and we could be there!

I think his analysis is getting better by the week personally , he’s learning a new trade let’s not forget and it will take time.

As a person though, like many I love the guy , always have and always will, one thing I can’t stand is people who try to come across as “one of the people” and the “oh if you see me in the street you can always come and say hello” types when the reality is, they’re fucking ignorant rude frauds, thank god Micah’s just Micah no matter where he is.

You’re probably right about the ‘back handed compliment’ and the anger and frustration on Neville’s face did give me some solace whilst watching the pitiful drivel that he was spouting.

’Salty Tears’ springs to mind.

That difference in quality has hugely closed recently.

We are still better than them, but not that much anymore.
