I'd say he's making more appearances than some would like because of the changing nature of audiences. Considering most people complain about the existing pundit's analysis anyway, saying he's not Guardiaola in a studio is rich. It might be for the banter generation as that is the main audience nowadays, but why not have a bit of a laugh, better than dour guys in suits. Liven it up a little, the game is meant to be fun and Micah has always brought that. More like him, for me.

Micah makes me smile, I don t know if it s infectious or is it because of the little rascal smile. All he has to do is turn up to outshine Owen, so he s a breath of fresh air..... Shearer belongs in a Morgue. I genuinely want to see and hear more from Micah. Feck the begrudgers!

Shearer patently doesn't like City. Last week on MOTD he stated City would lose the FFP case. Interpret that as he HOPES City lose.

We complain for years that we never get ex City players as pundits then when we get one some start moaning.

And that idiot Richards sat there and didn’t say anything back. So he doesn’t stick up for City does he
