Micah Richards the pundit

CBS/Paramount+ CL coverage is getting more high profile, esp now Beckham has been added! Begs belief.

I have stopped watching the pre-game build up, and HT show, because I don’t care enough about any interview or nugget enough to put up with the fanboy childishness.

There’s a reason Henry says about 10% of what the others have to say…he looks embarrassed to be there half the time.

Throw in the likes of Schmeichel at the games, and it’s red shirt suckfest! Even the host is a diehard Utd fan!

Richards’ schtick reached vomit-inducing levels this week with his Beckham-Love! Got up, hugged him, switched seats with Spitter to sit next to him, and hit new volume levels while discussing his man-love! Nauseating!

Beckham & CBS have penned a deal for an alternate commentary channel, where you watch/hear him and some “celebrity/superstar” friends watching about 6 CL games this season.
Scmeichal gets that red nose from being stuck up Carraghers arse.

Not sure about that!

Schmeichel is the Rag rep…Henry the Arse rep, Carragher the Dipper rep, and Richards sadly the Blue rep!!
He wanted to cosy up to Carragher and repair his busted relationship with the rags. Grade A ****. I know. I met him when he was at City.

Yeah he is.

He tones it down slightly on Sky, but its all about him.

I listen to him on the podcast he does with Shearer and Linekar. And its always about money
If you read his autobiography you will notice that his thoughts on the money side of the game are quite prevalent. It's no wonder he farms himself out to any company that wants to use his image to sell stuff. Couldn't see Micah doing what Nedum did when the pandemic affected staff of the club he was playing for.

I find the whole CBS setup nauseating. They treat the football as a secondary and only seem bothered about having a laugh.
No-one gives a toss about their personal lives, why do they seem to think otherwise.

Never seen it but if enough people stop watching it they'll go away.

The US market is different to over here though. Most viewers won’t be as emotionally invested in it and may prefer the comedic element to it rather than tactics. Etc.

Richards and Carragher tone it down on Sky in comparison.

In an ideal world, you’d have a choice of having entertaining pundits or tactical experts on the red button.

Most of the time, I’d much prefer the tactical side of discussion, but I’d need the option to watch Ratboy and Keane realising the latest corner that the rags have taken has taken them back to square one.

It never used to be that way but Micah & Spitty have added a boys club element to the show that takes cringe to another level. I'm just surprised that Henry continues to stick it out.
