Micah Richards the pundit

Think he’s absolutely shite as a pundit but don’t see the big deal about him saying Phil should play more.
Because he says it every time because they have a script that starts prematch , tyler picks it up then it goes to post match , asking phil lime they did today when they can get him

Talks about eddie and steffan did not require talking about dippers , neither did talking about kev need rag mentions

This is not just today , he sold out ages ago to get and keep the job , he doesnt do it on the bbc

Foden has played more 1st team games (over 150) at 20 years old , than any of the infamous Rag class of '92 side , but you can guarantee that fact will never be brought up in any Sky/BT/BBC show , its not what their Raggy punters want to here
Correct the show pony had played far less much of it on loan at Preston

All this talk about Phil rarely getting a game is exaggerated.

He's only 20 years old and has played nearly 100 times for us now, in all competitions. He's won 6 domestic trophies (not counting the Community Shields), scored 21 goals, and has broken into the England team. He's the youngest ever winner of the Premier League, I think ?

I really don't think we're holding him back / ruining his career.
We need to be careful with such a young talent. Plenty have played too much football too young and it has come back to bite them in the @ss. Fowler, Owen, Rooney, Torres and Giggs being examples of careers that were compromised significantly by their mid 20’s. And we dont want that for Phil. Micah should know better too!

Plus as you say, he’s played and won a lot for City so young. Most of the tw@ts of 92 didn't start playing regularly until they were 20/21

Giggs was still playing past 40 years of age. Not sure he would be the best example to support that view.

He did but he was nothing like the player he was when he first emerged and thats the point. He didnt score more than 10 goals in a season after 95/96 when he was 22/23
