Looked comfortable 1st half but was poor 2nd. I thought one of the basic requirements of a full back is to stop the cross? At least 50% of the pressure that Wolves had would have been avoided by Micah stopping the ball coming over into the box, this made Dunney and Kolo's life very difficult. I felt the same frustation last season and today has convinced me that Zab is the better right back and we need quality to replace Richards.

Where's that tin hat?

As an aside Garrido,Johnson,Kompany and Benjani were all in a box behind my son and I today. Johnson gave my lad a look for a photo which is mre than the others managed, cheers Johners!

I thought he was ok, was quite often left exposed with their left-back on the overlap. No coincidece that the left-back came on at half-time and that's when Richards seemed to struggle a bit more.

I agree to an extent on being exposed but the left back is no world beater and it does not excuse him being beaten or letting the ball come over virtually every time.

First half he was good, made some good runs.

Second when the going got tough he got a bit lazy!

For a player with such pace, he doesnt use it tracking back and he didnt stop any crosses coming in unfortunately

In the name of God, Mary, Joseph and Jesus himself, when will Hughes play Zab instead of Richards? I lost count of the amout of times crosses came over from his side, especially in the second half. Any more space and the winger/s would have walked the ball in to our net. Hughes, get Zab on and get Richards off.

Exactly! I can only think that Zab wasn't 100% after Barca game otherwise he surely should have come on today!?

I think Richards must have some welsh blood...cant think of any other reason he gets in ahead of Zab.
