Micah Richards

I don’t think the supporters of Villa will think that 50k a week at a guess he was on I heard. Let’s face it when he was fit at Villa he wasn’t that great, his best years were with us

What are you even talking about???

He has a contract, takes part in first team training every day when fit? If he’s not selected, it’s not his fault. What do you suggest he does?

His fitness levels aren’t up to playing first team football that’s why he’s retiring from the game. What don’t you understand about that. If he was fit enough he would get a deal elsewhere

If he has on an ongoing injury that means he can’t perform at his best that is totally different to Danny fucking Mills.

He takes part in first team training every day. Aston Villa are a fucking mess, their fans once decent are now in the main deluded fuckwits.
Just remember them waving fake £20’s at Gaz Baz.

Micah has done everything he can to be value to his contract, as he’s not been fit enough he’s helped with youth & training. He’s been the exact opposite of Danny fucking Mills.

I recon we will see him back at City.

If he's as good in the dressing room and with the kids at Villa as people say, would it be a bad idea for him to get his badges and help with the youth set up (obv when he's out of contract at Villa)? Could be invaluable having someone that has come through it himself and gone on to have a pretty solid career at the top level.

Apologies if that's already been asked.

I suspect villa fans feel the same about Micah as we do about Mills. What are you Micahs agent? 50 k a week to cheer the team on the sidelines. What would City fans think of someone who came in to our club didn’t achieve anything and had fitness issues so he couldn’t be selected

I have zero problem with Mangala.
Big fee, big contract. Not good enough and not for enough to shift on.
Seems a good lad, never slags the club or his chances.
He’s entitled to take his contact.

Much like Richards, he was offered a contract. He signed it. Di Matteo blocked a move to West Ham for him.
He’s more than entitled to take his wages.
Especially when it seems he’s done everything he can.

Mills hated everything & everyone. Comparing the two is just silly & more importantly inaccurate & unfair.

What do you suggest Micah do? Just walk away from his contract??
Why would he do that?

I’ve never heard of a club letting a player walk away from his contract if they want them to stay. A contact protects both parties, that’s the point.

Love Micah. One of the few enjoyable players to watch during the Stuart Pearce days.
Will never forgive Pearce for selecting Micah to play in a meaningless end of season 1st team game (which ended 0-0) at West Ham, instead of having him captain the youth team in the 1st leg of the final the night before at Anfield.
Without their leader, the Boy Blues lost 3-0.
A Micah inspired performance saw City win the 2nd leg 2-0 and the Scousers were battered that night but we just couldn't get the third goal. I have no doubts that with Richard's in the 1st leg we would never have lost 3-0.

Was excellent during that first title winning season.

Absolutely ran his side of the pitch in the 6-1 at the swamp.

A proper old school defender. Hard as nails, aggressive, great in the air and fast as fuck.

Really likeable character too. Used to love his dynamic with Lescott in those City TV clips.

All the best son.

Actually, I quite like that Mendy lad.

Will go down as one of my favorite City players. The performance he put in during the 2-1 win the year we got the double was great. He beat every player that came near him and was absolutely amazing in the air that match. It was one of those performances you don't forget.

One of my favourite performances of his too.

Richard Dunne was also brilliant in that match, as they both were in the home derby the previous September.
