I am often astonished on BM by some of the things I read from other posters.

That any person with more than 2 brain cells to rub together can genuinely believe that Jackson wasn’t a pedo is beyond my comprehension.

It might have been a good idea for the alleged victims to not chase the money, not swear under oath that nothing happened but instead give him a chance to defend himself in a court of law and if found guilty then face his punishment.

Let's just say for argument's sake that the alleged victims are telling the truth. They don't owe the guy anything. If I knew 100% what he did and was dealing with it in my own way, giving the guy a chance to defend himself wouldn't be especially high on my list of priorities. It isn't that much of stretch to understand why someone might not want to admit they were a victim of child abuse and I can also understand why they wouldn't want to have to face that person while they were still alive.

I do feel for the victims. I believe them. My point is that people shouldn't necessarily think they're lying now just because they denied it in the past. I was addressing someone who said they were unsure of whether to believe them.

I recently revisited the Jackson - Jarvis Cocker incident on Youtube, and it Jarvis's account gives quite a good idea of the sort of bullying tactics that his legal team used. They were basically desperate to try and get him done for any crime at all, even lying about him assaulting a child on stage at one point (even though it was all recorded), all for the terrible crime of protesting his performance. And that was against one of the biggest pop stars in the country at the time. Imagine how they acted when it was some nobody and their kid accusing him of something that would see him go to jail for years.
