Michael Johnson

If any of you have ever played sport and then had an injury which threatens your career, it can be seriously Depressing.

So much for support

Paul Lake, Van Nis, Keane, Shearer. All had career threatening injuries but kept themselves in shape. We're kidding ourselves thinking he will play for City again. He looks like he should be playing on a Sunday morning.

If he wants it badly enough, he'll shed the weight. Anyone remember what Mark Bowen said when the new management team arrived? 'The emphasis is on fitness.' Good luck for the coming season, Johno lad.

if he has had steroid injections then he will put on weight.curry injections an beer injections wont help either.

For a sportsman his overweight picture is a disgrace.

If Jonno is serious about getting back to the player he was a couple of years ago he would never have let himself go like that. If he works hard he may be able to and if that hard work is evident he will have loads of support from us fans.

I am surprised that the photo was displayed without any doctoring to "lose a few pounds"

I hope he does and proves me wrong but I doubt we will see him in a first team shirt again.

Sad because he was a real talent; rumours are just that but that picture paints a truthful account of his life.

I for one feel better about my weight after seeing that picture of Jonno!

I usually support the fella but those rosy cheeks are very suspicious he's either getting ready to be santa next Christmas or he has been hitting the bar(s).
