Michael Johnson

Been offered to Wolves on loan. Hope it is true and it happens as one standout season in the Premier League without injuries and he would be like a new signing for us.

He's in the last year of his city contract I think.

In terms of him carrying on playing at any level he's at last chance saloon.

Hardly kicked a ball for 3 seasons no chance of becoming a top player now with that much football missed. It's a shame, combination of bad luck with injuries and poor attitude towards training and looking after himself IMO.

Let's be honest he's well know around Manchester, you are never going to be a top player at this level going out getting pissed every night.

Wolves on loan would be a great move for him. Would give us a chance to assess whether he can ever play a role for this City team, whether he really is the next Gerrard/Lampard or whether he just stood out in a much more average City side.

Because let's be honest, 95% of us, if not all of us, don't know that either way.

Didn't Adebayor say MJ was the most talented player he'd every trained with?

I dunno, it's been so long now that I don't believe he's ever coming back, at least not for City.

2 years isn't it? If so, it's the perfect length, one year for assessment, then we can determine if he's worth a new contract after a year with Wolves.

Pretty sure he's going into the final year of his contract ?

Regardless I wish him well, personally I think at this stage he is better droping down a division to the likes of Leeds where he will at least get a chance to play every week.

Is he going to play week in week out at wolves ? I can't see it personally.

He needs to prove he is still good enough and fit enough to play every week and actually wants to be a footballer.

watched him at altrincham and stalybridge and he just isnt the player he was. razak the young lad he was playing in midfield with at staly was head and shoulders better than him. hopefully with a good injury free run out on loan we can see the second colin bell again.

Signed a 5 year contract in 2008. So 2 years left.

Can take a lot of time to regain full form after such a long time out.

It is possible he will never be the same but a full season on loan somewhere will give us a real answer, a long run of games and staying fit (hopefully).
