Jury's are daft. Surely a judge with years of experience is more than able to make a judgement? Or instead of a jury get a load of judges. Something doesn't sit right about a load of corrie fans say there thinking they are looking at Kevin Webster

12 judges on a jury. Each one on about £300 an hour plus expenses. Madness.

Seriously, have a word with yourself.
You haven't heard a single word of evidence from this case, and know less than nothing, yet you have convicted him already.
If he's found guilty, then lock him up and lose the key, but try letting the judge and jury work it out first, because unlike you and the other Miss Marples on here they will actually get to hear the evidence, and will make an informed decision.
You obviously couldn't tell I was joking fetters.

Tragic listening to this each night on the news.

Guilty or not guilty his life in in turmoil.

One thing that people forget is that the CPS wouldn't take the chance on pressing forward without SOME kind of convincing evidence, to their own end.

Surely there are 'distinguishing marks' that this female remembers about the man, that would not be ordinarily seen by the public...??

You could say the same for the girl.

Infact I would be more inclined to do so.

It's tragic all round I agree. No matter what the outcome.

I saw a bit of the case today from the public gallery. Don't know how it's gonna last the projected two or three weeks when they've already cross examined the accuser and her mother.

Thought it was already over. According to most on here, he's guilty.
