Michael le Vell (Kevin Webster)

Didn't stuart hall deny everything until the last minute?
There must be a vast difference in being found guilty and pleading guilty regarding sentencing.

I think its down to their morals or serious lack of them. I don't remember ever reading about one of these cases where someone ( famous or not) pleads guilty. They think they have done nothing wrong and don't seem to think they will be found guilty right up until the last minute. This for me is a bad thing to stomach as it puts more pain and worry on the victim. You have to remember that tp do the things he has "allegedy" done he is not normal at all so he won't do the decent thing and own up.

True... hence my 'edit' to last post.

One thing that people forget is that the CPS wouldn't take the chance on pressing forward without SOME kind of convincing evidence, to their own end.

Surely there are 'distinguishing marks' that this female remembers about the man, that would not be ordinarily seen by the public...??
Origianly they were not going to press charges but 3 months later fresh allegations were made

I think its down to vast difference in the sentencing guidelines between someone who pleads guilty and is found guilty. Thing here is even he if now pleads, he's made the victim go to court and go through the awful experience if reliving it, which is what the incentive in sentencing credits is meant to achieve. So he's fucked in terms of that anyway now, so he wouldnt change his plea anyway

It's little wonder the poor kid always looked petrified at tea time.

Own up ???

Like women who falsely cry rape do , you mean ??

I don't know whether Michael Turner(Le Vell) is guilty or not , but if he really hasn't done it why should he plead guilty ????

Jury's are daft. Surely a judge with years of experience is more than able to make a judgement? Or instead of a jury get a load of judges. Something doesn't sit right about a load of corrie fans say there thinking they are looking at Kevin Webster

12 judges on a jury. Each one on about £300 an hour plus expenses. Madness.

Tell me you are joking!
We get 40 dollars a day here for the first 6 days and 80 a day there after.

Judges wouldn't answer a telephone for the daily amount £65 you can claim on jury duty. Oh if you ever want get out of it just tell the authorities you absolutely have never had faith in or a believe anything a police officer says and so will just always vote not guilty.

Back on topic I think Le Vell comes from his mam's maiden name.
