Can he go for her now then for making up such shite?
If he didnt do it and you must now assume that, She wants shooting IMO
She certainly needs dealing with, though I would go for the legal route rather than shooting her ;-)
Why..what makes you think that he would be able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt she lied..not guilty does not mean innocent.

Whatever the truth of it (and he HAS been found not guilty) that girl must be carrying a whole lot of psychological damage.

Exactly. She should be sent down

Not guilty verdict doesnt mean she lied.

And if reporting a rape could lead to recriminations no-one will do it.
Not true. This case is complicated by the age of the girl. A woman who wrongly accuses a man of rape could indeed be pursued through the courts.

I think anonymity should be considered for future trials.

100%. I cannot understand why this isnt the case already, its mental.
The guy is not guilty but this will hang over him forever.

Does the "victim" get named and shamed now its shown she was talking shit? probably not

She may have told the truth, but there was not enough evidence to convict beyond a reasonable doubt.

typical male response.

when it is one person word against another, jurys often go for not guilty because they are scared of sending down someone if they are only 80% sure he did it - they let the 20% rule their head. It's just how it goes. He got his not guilty verdict, leave it at that, you think he will want this person prosecuted when it's _______________ (can't say, you get done for it)? No. And thankfully the legal system doesn't work like that unless it is totally proven it's untrue.

Odd that you're turning it into a sexist thing, but carry on.

Could be if there is evidence she lied. Which there is none.

It's common knowledge. Or do you mean you don't know?

I don't know either Denis, must have passed me by, no doubt I'll find out some time.
