Innocent and to be fair we all know who it was and why! He maybe a rag but at the end of the day no one wants to go through that kind of shit!!

I'm relieved in someways because my Mum has met him a few times at charity events and my sister is mentally handicapped and she always spoke highly of Him saying he had time for her (as did a couple of others).

I've been on jury service twice, and one of the cases I served on was widely reported in the national press.

It was interesting in that the parts of the case that were in the media was accurately reported, and there were also large chunks of the days events missing, but overall I thought the reports in the press was fair.

It was a sex abuse case, and screens had been erected in the court so the accused couldn't see the dock. We knew, as jurors, the identity of all the people involved, and the girl being abused when she appeared in court was 14 years old, but there was not a sniff of her identity in the newspapers.

In my limited experience of court life, there is a lot that goes on in court that is not reported in the press, but the small bits that are are accurate to a tee.

I hope, and for lots of reasons, that he's not guilty. It would shut all the hang em flog em brigade up on here and he could make millions suing the redtops who've so publicly tried and convicted him.
 
The prosecution has summed up .this afternoon it will the turn for the defence .the Judge will then sum up .then it is up to the jury
 
I can see the entrance to the court from my work, not a lot of press there considering

Until proven guilty. His wife must think he's guilty because she fucked him off as soon as this broke.
Whatever the verdict, unless he actually confesses, only him and the child will know the truth.
 
Its not hard to figure out who the "victim" is, its just puzzling why would they go through all this and the physical examinations if their was nothing behind it

What choice do they really have?

If they go to the trouble of actually accusing someone of something like this then surely they SHOULD see it through , whatever toll (or inconvenience) it takes on them .... and whether they are lying or not !

Most false rape complainants get found out , they don't own up first ..... and there's an increasing number of them as the police would no doubt endorse if they were being honest.

If this girl had of pulled out of this trial she should have faced charges of wasting police time , at the very least ....... she could even face the prospect of Le Vell possibly sueing her for all the stress , and trouble , she's caused him and his family , as Freddie Starr is currently doing to his accuser ......... and also if this girl was unfortunate to suffer a sex attack in say a year or twos time , who would genuinely have believed her , if she'd pulled out of this one ?????

Girls who accuse somebody of doing something such as this should EXPECT to see it through ... and should face a severe grilling , at least , if they don't ...... serious accusations like these wreck more lives than just the complainants and their families.

I know the child you raise isn't yours but that's a ludicrous thing for a Father to say let alone anyone else. I slept on the same canal boat for 5 days as a child porn magnate when I was 13. Nothing actually happened with me but it's going to live with me for the rest of my life that this man was that close to me.
