Michael Oliver to ref Liverpool v City - City lodge complaint

They are fucking it up though mate, we are a laughing stock around the world for how bad we are at VAR.

That in turn damages the brand which in turn damages it’s value.

There is a 2 year Manchester City size hole in premier league revenues that has to be reversed. A successful cash cow club with guaranteed global follower interest and TV rights sales will help in this matter.

Well played Mr Oliver!

But it’s not just the Liverpool one mate, round the grounds everyone knows it’s shite and are singing about it. All the pundits, journos etc.

6 clubs aside mate, the rest are happy to finish 17th and take the money.

For all the furore about VAR the precise sum of fuck all is being done and instead the process gets more and more dark and bizarre by the week, that's sums up just how arsed they are.

Liverpool winning the league is all that matters.

It's the story they want, the story they can sell around the world and the TV companies and media will do the exact same thing.

Just saw two very interesting things on Twitter:

1- IF i wasn't given because Bernardo handballed it first, play should have been brought back for a free-kick after VAR (because playing advantage it would have been a pen).

2- If it wasn't given because it was unintentional then their goal should have been disallowed for handball leading to a goal!

Stop the world I'm getting off.

The most predictable things today were that this coward would fuck us over and that VAR would benefit them.... both nailed on

It was almost comical watching Fernandinho asking “how many times” did Fabinho have to hack our players before he got a yellow card.

The ridiculous rules regarding handball came back to bite PGMOL on the arse today but they took the easy option which was to fuck City over.

It was a blatant penalty but let’s move past that. Liverpool go straight down the pitch and score. Now, are they going to disallow a goal at Anfield whilst the locals and not so locals are going mental? Not a chance.

And if they did, because of the new - even an accidental handball in the build up to a goal will be punished - rule, there was no way to restart the game because the offence was in their penalty area.

The only thing they could do to prevent their own rules being shown up as ridiculous was to allow a goal that should never have been given.

Penalty not given to us so the handball becomes crucial to build up to their goal. More obvious than Laporte v Spurs. So it is very easy for VAR to disallow goal but doing that they have to give a penalty to us. VAR never allowed for this.!!!
