Today the refs will close ranks under the orders of Mike Riley.
Oliver is the top man in their eyes and the general message will be all about how well he reffed the game.
These guys are reasonably well paid so they wont break rank but it needs someone to come out and say that they fcked up for it to change. But realistically whose gonna kiss goodbye to an £80,000 + year job by telling tales?
Riley was an awful ref so if you put him in charge of the PGMOL the what do we expect?

That happens with every appointment to be fair. He was always going to get this game because the rest are useless. I'm still annoyed at what happened yesterday and I cannot motivate myself to carry on watching a rigged sport. I don't even know or care who we have up next!

Specifically, many, myself included stated very clearly that we would not be awarded a penalty in the game and sure as eggs are eggs, he does what he always does in every game he officiates us in and ignores an absolute fucking stonewall pen.

They'll also say he's received death threats on social media to alienate any criticism of him.

What’s worse is the know nowt’s coming on here blaming the fans for ‘having no bottle’.
Then you’ve those who just say it’s referring inconsistency?

It’s a corrupt sport, with a corrupt governing body, corrupt refs organisation, corrupt players and corrupt media telling everyone how great ‘the game’ is.
