Whilst I totally disagree with what Israel are doing.... a way to stop it is for Hamas to release the hostages.
So the question is: what would be the impact of Hamas releasing the hostages? I think it would give them the upper hand in the negotiations wouldn't it?
I just wish they'd release them then the rest of the world could pressure Israel to stop the bombing. Until they are released I'm afraid it's highly likely Israel will persist.
So Hamas, protect your people and release the hostages that you really had no right to take in the first place.
This was happening. Israel violated the ceasefire on multiple occasions before today and a couple of weeks ago decided to starve, stop all water and electricity to everyone in Gaza, a clear violation of the ceasefire so Hamas quite rightly wouldn't release any more hostages.
Now yet another monstrous terrorist israeli attack murdering hundreds of civilians. How can you have peace with these people if they renege on every agreement and are happy to bomb thousands of children? And you think if hamas release the israeli hostages/prisoners now that israel will suddenly change?
The ceasefire was supposed to build trust and release hostages (on both sides - israel holds a lot more palestinian hostages than hamas does). Israel has destroyed any hope of that throughout the ceasefire with their constant breaches of the ceasefire, and now this
Israel doesn't want peace or give a fuck about hostages. They want the palestinian land, and they don't care who they have to murder for them to get it, Israeli or not (the clue is that they keep bombing israeli hostages and killed X amount on october 7th)
