Middle East Conflict | Netanyahu orders strikes on Gaza (p1161)

Jordan saying they won’t allow there airspace to be used by Iran to fire drones over it so I’m assuming there helping Israel / the USA to shoot them down on the other hand are they allowing Israel to fly over it to attack Iran
Jordan are crippled by an over reliance on the US.

Can you speak Russisn? If not get the lessons booked.
What a complete load of toss.
Without Nukes, the US coukd back out of it's commitments to NATO and Russia would definately attack Europe.
See North Caucasus republics and Ukraine for details.
I’m not convinced Russia could attack Europe, given its ongoing struggle in Ukraine. The USA, under Captain Trump, could pull out of NATO tomorrow and very likely would if the VP took over, in the event of Trump not being around, so then where are we?

“As the Palestinian ambassador to the UK, I call on the British government to end this vicious path, right its historic wrongs and officially recognise the state of Palestine while the conditions are uniquely ripe to do so. The UN conference on the two-state solution next week presents an immediate opportunity for the UK to join the rest of the world to recognise the state of Palestine. This means the recognition of the independence of our people and sovereignty of our land as defined by international resolutions, full membership at the UN and diplomatic relations as accorded to all member states.”

While the attack on Iran occupies the headlines, the Guardian remembers the Palestinian people are still suffering from the Israeli occupation, now is the time for the UK to recognise a two state solution the pressure on the government to do something to solve the awful situation in Gaza.

Not according to a former Jordanian minister interviewed soon after Israel's last attack on Iran. He believed the majority of Jordanians (and the majority of people in many other Middle Eastern countries) had Israel as number two on the hate list with Iran way out in front.
A great many Iranians despise the Iranian dictatorship n’all.

“Unclear scientists“
You mean uranium scientists whose job is to destroy and kill? Do you really believe that there are scientists in the Revolutionary Guards? Wake up, this is a dark dictatorial regime
that abuses an oppressed and poor people
Who are you defending here?
I think it's great that the Israelis are the ones that are going to go in there and show them how they should treat people correctly perhaps using their own unequivocally kind and fair treatment of the Palestinian people since the 1940s as a benchmark

I would imagine it would be countries with close ties to America like Jordan Kuwait and others .

It was a total coincidence, but this was discusssed at our constituency party meeting. No dissent - but no vote as someone left early and we were inquorate...

Bearing in mind that following the recent appalling action by Israel in Gaza, the government has suspended the free trade agreement talks and sanctioned extremists supporting violence in the West Bank. The Prime Minister says we will keep looking at further action. Uncertain as to what further action might be taken in response to Israel's war crimes, this CLP calls on the UK government to recognise the State of Palestine.

It’s simple. The motion doesn’t mention the genocide. It doesn’t mention arms sales, or RAF surveillance flights from Cyprus. It doesn’t mention settlements, or Revisionist Zionists like Ben Gvir and Smotrich who think Israel includes all the West Bank and bits of Jordan and Syria too. I congratulate the government on sanctioning them and standing up to the USA who defend these guys because they are democratically elected - even while their own government agents wrestle a democratically-elected senator to the ground and handcuff him in his own state.

And it doesn’t mention October 7th, or Hamas – because this is about a two-state solution. Now Israel would say recognising the State of Palestine would reward Hamas for the atrocities of October 7th; but then Netanyahu supported Hamas because they were opposed to the Palestinian Authority, and Hamas, like Netanyahu’s own party, don’t want a two-state solution. And now Netanyahu is funding local clans in Gaza in opposition to Hamas.

It could be argued that the apartheid that Israel has imposed on the West Bank makes a Palestinian state less viable – but to use that as a reason not to recognise a Palestinian state would be to reward Israel’s illegal occupation of the West Bank.

Those are things the motion doesn’t mention.

It says the UK should join other countries in recognising the State of Palestine. The House of Commons voted ten years ago to recognise Palestine. The Prime Minister has said recognition of Palestine could jeopardise the UK's relationship with the U.S.A. - but that’s been well jeopardised by Trump. We should join the vast majority of UN sovereign states that have recognised Palestine as a state, as a commitment to the two-state solution.

Iran has warned the UK, US and France not to help Israel stop its strikes on the country.

Tehran said they will target ships and bases belonging to the three countries in the region if they do not step back.

That's according to comments reported by Iranian state media.

If that happens is it fair to say we are in world war 3?
