I think UAE and Qatar only responded to the missile warning, but no air traffic has been flying over the region between iran and israel, apart from the odd Jordanian plane, all the other airlines are using Saudi air space to avoid it all, even Kuwait.

There a Saab AEW flying near the Saudi coast now, not sure who it's flying on behalf of.
 
I did 4 months at Al u deid air base Qatar. It's fucking huge alot of different nationalties working on it too.

Home crowd as in other states in the region hate them, but the Iranian government still has a lot of support in rural areas. Opponents in major cities won't be making themselves heard while the government is sabre rattling.
 
Netanyahu - having dragged America in - wants to agree a ceasefire because Iran keeps hitting Israeli cities which is making him very unpopular plus the Iron Dome is an analogue system in a digital war - now he reaps what he sowed.

 
For those interested in more than the politics this is a good video (He usually covers Ukrainian conflict). Its just a straight military analysis of the situation leading up to and during the conflict. Quite informative. Especially about how Assad's fall in Syria has helped keep Russia out of it and allowed Israel to attack Iranian airspace. Also a bit more informative about what Israeli control of IRanian airspace really means.

Iran aren’t part of the Arab world. They are mostly Persian ethnicity who speak Farsi not Arabic. There is a lot of antipathy between Persians and Arabs going back centuries. A lot of people don’t realise that the civil war in Yemen is a proxy war between Saudi Arabia and Iran.

Absolutely not. Nobody should have that decision making power, but these weirdos and the weirdos in the west who have the same decision making power are no different. See pictures of Netanyahu or trump kissing the magic wall, or the powers that he in the west telling them the bible commands they must help Israel. All psychos, none better than the other.

I agree with your last sentence 100% but I don’t agree that political leaders are all the same. Some cultures value life more than others. And that trickles down. The difference in quality as a human being between the Scandinavian and Russian leaders is both stark and telling.

Think Starmer and Sunak for all their manifest faults (boring ****, rat-faced ****) are relatively benign individuals. You could not say that about Truss or Johnson. Who are both cunts.

Especially Liz Truss.
