Fair point mate. That makes sense: Kidnapping as a tactic in the Middle East goes back many hundreds of years so I don’t think there would have been any offence if Leo had just called it for what it was.

I often think of the early days of this whole shit show. The Palestinian man cradling the body of his child in a shroud, almost too traumatized to "let go "
Plus the Israeli man whose wife and 2 small children had been kidnapped. He was interviewed by Sky and looked like death. I really hope they are included in the hostage release, and didn't die before :-(

Was thinking about this little girl earlier today hoping for her release unaware that she was part of the list.

I can recall that the father proclaimed he was thankful she was dead when that's what he was told by the Israeli authorities because of what happens to people in Gaza. Obviously he was filled with grief and other emotions, sad that he was exploited for propaganda, but happy to see the little girl back home.
