What this is now showing is that the IDF have a policy, or tolerance at least, for killing civilians. In the past, when a story came up about civilians being killed there was always a caveat that they were doing something wrong, or linked to terrorism, now we see that they don’t have to do anything wrong and the IDF treat them as vermin.

The world is beginning to open its eyes to how Israel is operating, many now changing their tune and calling them out for what they are. As bad as Hamas, if not worse.

Aye true but I don't see the sort of mass protests against it that I would expect. The people of Israel, in general, do seem to support this disgusting killing of innocent people for revenge. It's no better than some African tin pot dictatorships way of doing things.

If needs calling out even if our govns and media will only hint at their disgust with it, we're all very uncomfortable with it tbh (expect those that think it's a logical choice for Isreal), just as bad.

They could have toned down the indiscriminate attacks / revenge (after the initial response to the 7 Oct atrocities). Secured a ceasefire to get more hostages released, and pursued targeted special forces operations against the terrorist leaders, like they have in the past.

None of this is simple of course but most of the world now consider Israel to be a terrorist regime.

They well and truly have made life for themselves harder. They have helped the recruitment for their opposition for a whole generation. They have also made themselves appear just as bad if not worse so no one really sympathises with them

what Israeli's need to understand is this is a massive recruitment tool for their enemies - they are burning through international support and when the shooting stops and they look around they will remember where their country is located and who are their neighbours.......

We both know that when the fighting stops Israel will soon be under the umbrella of the west, the USA will protect them and everything about them and the west will just follow suit.

Saying that, rockets will still be fired and a good deal of Palestine with want to see the end of Israel.

Cameron said that there will never be peace and any hope for a 2 state solution with Hamas around, i agree. But the same can be said for the psychotic govt headed by that evil **** in Israel. Both sides need taking out, new regimes with a common goal to live together whether that's 2 states or one, freedom for all. Getting rid of just Hamas is not the answer, the Palestinians have been weaponised not only by Hamas, but by Israel themselves and the same has been done to the Israeli people who only see enemies on the other side. Of course its complex, but the West have not only allowed but are accountable for the hate that has been strung up there.

Both true IMHO, but a lot of people are underestimating the hatred radicals have just on the religious front. If Israel hadn't have been utter bastards they would have been over run decades ago.

Not sure if I agree tbh. Being utter bastards is one of the causes for this, it can never be seen as a necessary evil considering what they went through as a people. There could have been a solution at the start, it should never have been left for Israel to create the state and then figure it out themselves. Religious fanatics on both sides have been allowed by the West to control narratives and inject hatred into the fabric of the populations. Europe & the US are firmly to blame, IMHO, and sitting back saying we condemn this and that at this point is just cowardice.

Would of been a lot less hatred had they stopped the theft of Palestinian land and turned a blind eye on the settlers murdering spree.
