I kinda feel bad for Blinken the most. He seems like a decent man caught in the middle of crazy ideologues overseeing a “plausible” genocide…
 
IDF and Shin Bet have gone rogue (in violation of Israeli law) if these reports are accurate (and there is reason for them to not consult with Netanyahu and Gallant before carrying out the strikes, so this is not difficult to believe).

The far-right has slowly taken over the leadership of both the Israeli military and sections of Mossad and Shin Bet, so this would honestly not surprise me.

No doubt Netanyahu will come out shortly to say he was consulted and approved the killings.

JERUSALEM, April 11 (Reuters) - Israeli forces killed three sons of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in an air strike in Gaza without consulting senior commanders or political leaders including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli media reported on Thursday.

Quoting senior Israeli officials, Walla news agency said neither Netanyahu nor Defence Minister Yoav Gallant had been told in advance of the strike, which was coordinated by the Israeli military and the Shin Bet intelligence service.

 
Group A fighting for land that used to belong to them 2000 years ago
Group B fighting for land that their parents and grandparents grew up in

In any other situation the world would be behind Group B. To not be would seem illogical and crazy.

If group As claim to land is based on a book written a few thousand years ago, by unknown folk, based upon folk tales and written for their times not ours, then they are fucking morons. Especially if they then spend millions digging holes in the desert trying to find “proof” of said talk tales.
