Don't obfuscate. I actually agree with you, and have said on here, that the Western notion of democracy and rights, and how they expect people like the Emiratis to live, is a form of cultural imperialism, imposing their belief system on people who've lived for many years under completely different social and political norms.

But you can't have it both ways. If you want the Palestinian people to have their human rights respected, as most of us surely do, then you can't be blind to the fact that it's not just Israel who's guilty of human rights abuses against them.
