Middle East Conflict

Are they also charging the Hamas fighters who are taking the food convoys at gunpoint to sell the food aid on at a profit or to keep their own stomachs full whilst the people they pretend to represent go hungry?

No idea, I've not seen this on the ICC website. Have you a link?

@blueinsa where has that been reported.
I would genuinely like to know as I get my news from RTE and haven seen anything reported.

So food is going in it’s just a fact that Hamas, a criminal terrorist organisation is busy stealing it for their own ends yes?

Thoughts?

I'm just surprised you never commented on the the War Crimes that the Israeli's have just been dealt. Straight on to

"Yeh but wattabout Hamas"

We know Hamas are murdering cunts and horrible bastards.

War crime whatabouttery. Very nice.

It’s discussing something with balance and reporting on what actually occurred just the other day tbh.

If you want to shout whatabouttery and ignore anything you don’t like then that’s up to you.

Netanyahu and his cronies? Throw the book at the cunts, it’s no skin off my nose and the world will be no lesser place without them but aid was there the other day and it was stolen.

I highly doubt armed criminal gangs are running around Gaza behind the backs of Hamas do you?

It’s reported on there as well as most well respected news outlets mate if you just google it.
It's reported that trucks were stolen by gangs at gunpoint.

Israel has withheld aid (Israelis have attacked aid convoys). People are starving. Civil order breaks down. Aid goes in and gangs of masked men attacked the convoy. Hamas attacked the gangs attacking the convoy.

Read further.

Seems to me as legit as you’ll get. UNWRA.
It reports one convoy amongst a load of other news items.
I’ve no doubt there’s a world of shit going on in there now.

We’ve our own elections happening within the next fortnight. I stopped a Labour candidate at my door and questioned him on his views on the Middle East situation baring in mind the soundings coming out of the present Irish government.
Apparently I’m not the first to raise Irish foreign policy at the doorstep. It’s a prime issue for the first time in an election.

The world is watching closely regardless of what their own governments may or may not be doing.

Haaretz, The Guardian and Owen Jones have reported that this is indeed the case.

Israel has systematically targeted the Hamas-employed police so they are unable to protect the aid convoys and the IDF, despite Israel having obligations under the Geneva Convention as the occupying power to ensure that the population has access to food, medical supplies, and clothing, aren't protecting the aid convoys neither.

A report in Haaretz, corroborated by The Washington Post, cites a leaked internal United Nations
memo which concludes that gangs of looters may be benefiting from a passive if not active benevolence or protection from the IDF.

The Guardian also states:

On Tuesday, reports emerged that amid renewed fears of famine, Hamas – whose military and governing capabilities have been severely degraded over 13 months of fighting – had formed a new anti-looting armed force.

“The popular and revolutionary committees”, established earlier this month, are made up of well-equipped Hamas fighters, allied groups and local clans, and have already carried out 15 missions in which looters have been ambushed and killed, according to a Hamas official who spoke to Reuters on condition of anonymity.

After the hijacking of the UN convoy on Saturday, the Hamas-run interior ministry said late on Monday 20 people had been killed in an operation to reclaim the supplies.

In a statement, Hamas said thefts had “severely affected society and led to signs of famine in southern Gaza”, and warned the operation was the start of a broader campaign to tackle the problem.

Your beliefs:

#1 Hamas fighters has taken food convoys at gunpoint

#2 Hamas fighters keep their own stomachs full while others go hungry

#3 Hamas fighters sold the food aid for profit.

Now, to confirm that your statements are not at least gossipy and not at most propaganda, provide references of #1 #2 and #3 here.
