Middle East Conflict

I'm glad they find it funny that News agencies are questioning Bibi the fascist over reaching his war declaration mandate by murdering innocent Palestinians he's equated to all being Hamas agents.

That's a painful attempt at comedy. If that's a reflection of Israeli comedic talent it ain't a good thing.

They do.

Am i allowed to called Netanyahu the corrupt fascist he is, and condemn Hamas at the same time?

I'm making a comment on how the Israeli officials constantly attack any news organisation makes who challenges their narrative on the war.

Any challenge to their script, the interviewer or organisation are called terrorist sympathising or they throw back a strange whataboutary argument as seen on Sky News this week.

It’s not comedy.

They are laying the ground work for discrediting any and all outside agencies that will cover the war properly.

It started with the big attack on Al Jazeera over the hospital, then branding the UN antisemites and banning them from the country, demanding the secretary general resigns. They have long running feud with Reuters and didn’t they intimidate some AP journalists last week?

Despite what the inhabitants of the BBC thread on here think, the BBC has a glittering reputation worldwide for its coverage, and will be many peoples choice for an unbiased source when looking at the events of the next few weeks.

This is not news to anyone who follows Israeli politics even from a distance, the governments suppression and intimidation of journalists has been constantly criticised from within Israel as well.

Anyway, undermine the BBC mock the very idea of numbers of civilians killed being reported so later you can deny the figures these agencies respected worldwide come up with.

Can’t argue with that. Netanyahu’s government are a fucking embarrassment. The USA, UK and Brazil have all got rid of their right wing populist criminal nut jobs (although in our case the replacement is not much better) and it’s about time Israel followed suit.

Shouldn't, they be worried about Hamas, or have I missed something.
Only that the *they* in this case is the (increasingly armed) settlers.
In a roundabout way it is the question I asked our blue in Tel Aviv and didn't get an answer for. Why were citizens in the internationally recognised borders of Israel left exposed like that? The two elderley ladies released the other night alluded to it also. Where was their security?
The answer lies in the short film @The blue phantom posted earlier. Extrapolate the manpower needed to police that system across the West Bank (absolutely not within the internationally recognised borders) and the conclusion is yes they should absolutely have been more concerned about Hamas.
The clips you saw are another worrying knock on effect. Inevitably troops are being redeployed for a possible ground invasion .... which leaves a void.
Apart from humiliating people at checkpoints the other role they supposedly did was keep a check on settler incursions.
Not only is that bare minimum of protection gone but the policy appears to be to give the settlers more arms.

This is the far right minister for national security btw. Makes a mockery of those dim takes that it is just this current 'populist ' government that is the problem. The opposition made a point that they will not enter a 'war coalition ' with the far right .... yet he still has his brief. All for show to appease Western Liberals.
