They've only scored 19 goals in the league all season, conceding 30. If we play the way we are capable of and create the chances we will score a few. They really aren't good enough for the EPL and look certain for relegation. I know this is the cup and anything can happen but it really isn't a bad draw when you look at it, apart from being away from home.

Silva has to play, we need to control the midfield and stop their possession.
Have we sold our allocation for this?

I suspect Boro will attempt to replicate Stoke's plan from last night. Just hope we've learned from that and play with greater intensity.

Well being honest it's impossible to call after last night's godawful effort, or rather lack of effort.

Boro have been a bogey side recently and like all shit teams will raise their game against us and smell blood if we don't get an early goal.

It's important that we pick our strongest available side and go for it right from the first whistle. No fucking about with slow, half arsed build up, just get Sané, Sterling and Silva running at them!

If I remember correctly we only drew with Boro at home and even then we found it hard to break them down in the 1-1 draw.

So I expect it will be another tough game, we'll probably do well to get a draw depending on the team Pep puts out.

Tricky game this we have retchid previous vs Middlesbrough and we always seem to contrive not to beat them.
Last night proves that too many changes are counter productive.
We need a strong side as the league has gone and not much hope in the CL.

More like we missed a shitload of chances and the two full backs fucked us on their last minute equaliser.

I know what you're saying but there's ET and pens. No replay so we have to get a result on the day.

I don't think Pep is going to want extra time with the Champions League game in midweek.

After the evidence of midweek, will Guardiola play a totally rested group of players, or play the best on paper and try and get game won asap. I think this is going to be a very difficult game. Boro need a win. And this is an opportunity for them to lift their season by getting to Wembley. I was thinking they would rest players and play a weakened team, but I;m thinking now they are going to go for it.
