Corrigan ,Book,Doyle ,Booth ,Donachie ,Oakes ,Summerbee ,Bell ,Lee,Towers ,Carrodus or was it Mellor?
They will always be remembered by me plus Marsh ,Tueart & Law.

When I was living in Denton my dad said he once saw Doyle trying to get at a guy in a parked car who had cut him up at lights and then given him the Vs. The guy was locked in his car shitting himself my dad said.

Doyle hated united and was a warrior on the pitch.

My favourite all time City player , i know we have had many world class players ,but none played without fear like Mike Doyle , the fact he hated the Rags more than me was also impressive :)
Only ever put a players name on the back of a City shirt i have purchased , and that was number "4" Doyle 12 years ago. Hero.
