ive been told. a woman called jackie (couldnt confirm if it was T/O Jackie or not) texted Mike to see if the lads were at the training ground. Mike said they werent there. She continued to believe they were and Mike told her not to come down as they were in fact at the team Hotel. This Jackie then went to the hotel to be told they werent there either when she goes "they are Mikes texted me"

Apparently city have told g4 they want him to stay but apparently have no say on the matter as g4 have been trying to get rid of Mike for a long time as hes on an old city contract and they want someone on im guessing one of their own lower paid contracts

Doesn´t stack up..If he´s 65 they could just say "You retire now" and that´s it.

Thats how it works at our place.

Was in the first few Inside Training videos i think and also the "First day back" ?

Either way it is pretty poor showing from the company.

Didn't Hughes make him remove all his signed City and Ricky Hatton pictures from inside his cabin because it was 'unprofessional'?

Mike was a big help to me a few years ago when I visited Carrington with an Italian friend who is a big blue. Mike even took my friends name and address and posted some signed stuff onto Italy for him, how good is that.

I prefer not too comment on the possible rights and wrongs of this case but I have to agree with a previous poster who rightly says Mike is very much part of the fabric of our club. Success is wonderful but I hope we never lose any of our soul along the way.

Good luck to Mike whatever happens, a true gent and a big help to many.

It's people like Mike which make our club what it is. I feel we lose a bit of our soul when this happens to characters such as Mike.

I really hope they can find a spot for him in the club. Technically they have nothing to do with it, but I'm sure he is gutted and gave his life to the blues, it would be nice if they could do something back.
