Millwall v city Rivalry

from what i heard we "done" them on their own turf yet they still deny til this day.

There you have it, ladies and gents.

Ask any set of wannabe hoolies from any club in the country about any other club in the country and some Danny Dyer wannabe will come out with this exact phrase within 3 minutes.

It's the law.

not really chrisi, its cos they got caught on the hop. all "firms" had their hard men,it didnt have much to do with being a hard so n so,just who was more up for it and ready for it i suppose.

Mid 80's we beat them 4-0 i think at MR, Ian Scott was possibly a scorer. They only brought a couple of hundred,it was an evening game, and they got slapped around Moss Side. Return game was when Millwall decided to exact revenge although it didn't quite turn out that way. Ever since then there has always been problems culminating in the battle at MR. Went to the old Den four times and what was noticeable was our following became larger and larger each time and Millwalls seemed to get smaller and smaller.......

The main reason was that we were the "big" fish in the 3rd division and Millwall like to turn out for what they see as big games to keep their reputation!!!!!

They once turned up at Wigan with about 10 lads, so they waited in a pub near the station and any shirt wearing Millwall fan was encouraged to drink in there with them to boost numbers and ensure they got a police escort.

Their reputation is a burden to normal supporters as all the local mongs turn out when their in town, but their mongs only bother with big games.

London Bridge Station they got the shock of their lives we did them good style, cant remember the year memory failing with age

i know a few of the old MAYNE line crew, they said it kicked of big time at london bridge, also they got ambushed at maine road a few years back, dont know how true it is but from what ive been told , it started at watford gap services, millwall where playing at wolves, city in london, it kicked of by millwall jumpin some of the mayne line , 10 mins latter 3 coaches from maynes'ses pulled in, believe that they ran across the motorway, and gave millwall a rite good kickin. believe the motorway was like a car park for an hour after.....
