Milner talks about Man City

Hypocritical then?
As for resent. If you saw Milner in the street would you tell him you resent him or would you think ‘aw there’s Milner, remember when he helped demolish the rags? When he helped us to our recent trophies? When he chose us over other clubs??’

How is it hypocritical? He did it against my club, the club I support. Why would I give a fuck if anyone did it against a club I don't support?

Nope,as it stands......Sterling is still in negotiation,as far as i'm aware.

Neither has he made comments, claims or demands that he has no intention of honouring.
I said could possibly do, not that he has yet. As I recall, he did it at Liverpool though, such is his right. I’m sure he’s not a Liverpool fan after all, just hired by them as his profession as a footballer. No emotion connection.
Have we all felt pissed off at our employers? I have. I do. Milner may have been promised things we haven’t heard but those promises taken away, who knows? For whatever reason though he chose to celebrate against us and not villa. I don’t know if he ever celebrated against Leeds or not. Or Newcastle? Who knows? Fact is he is a hired gun who had a major contribution to our recent success. That’s how he should be remembered regardless of what he did, said or whatever after. If he was a born and bred Blue, yeah, what’s that all about? He isn’t though.

He's a footballer, he decided he did not want to play for us anymore and saw out his contract which he is entitled to do. If we were that bothered about the money we wouldn't have sold de Jong for just £4m when he'd just been Holland's best player in the Euros.

Well if he came out and said he wasn’t resigning when his contracts up he would of got no stick he took the club and particular our chairman for a ride.

So it’s fickle then. Ok for one person to do it against a club you don’t support, but not ok for someone to do it to the club you support?

No, if you actually paid attention you might get it, I'll say it one more time

I have no issue with anyone celebrating against their former club. With me so far?

Ok, here's where the issue comes in - when he refused to celebrate scoring for us against Villa and then celebrated scoring against us for Liverpool I viewed that as disrespectful to City. You follow? No hypocrisy, no fickleness, just resentment that he'd do it against City and not against Villa.

No, the fickleness is you thought it was great that Adebayor did it against arsenal fans - 10 fold.

Sterling as every right to run his contract down, and if he conducts himself properly in that period i cant imagine any fan having a problem with him.

As keeps being repeated..........Milner chose otherwise, hence the ill feeling and his treatment.

How is that fickle? How many times do I have to say that generally I've no issue with players celebrating scoring goals against their former clubs?
