Misheard rock lyrics (that you think are better than the original)

Brass in Pocket

Gonna use my arms
Gonna use my legs
Gonna use my style
Gonna use my ............ now I have always sang "sassy" till a couple of months ago.

It always used to sound like sassy but now I know it does actually say " sidestep" . Still think sassy is better.

Crikey, I always thought “gonna use my senses” - just looked up the lyrics and I don’t recognise that song at all! “Got new skank/It’s so reet” Chrissy Hind a Yorkshire woman, who knew?

Blue Rondo a la turk - Klacto Vee Sedstein

I always thought it was about losing your virginity at the age of consent..

” I've got to find out, I've got to find out, I've got to find out "
GLAD TO BE SIXTEEN
ooh ooh ooh ha ooh ooh
ooh ooh ooh ha ooh ooh

I'll be honest, I'd never heard of him. Just looked him up on Youtube. “Staple the vicar”! Brilliant and mad. A man after my own heart…
Have a look for Dave Spikey - a mate of Kay's until they fell out over the misheard lyrics, amongst other things. Spikey was doing it first but was less famous and now looks like he copied.

Not misheard, but a favourite from him is Thin Lizzy's Jailbreak - "tonight there's gonna be a jailbreak, somewhere in this town". Just guessing, but I'd say the jail.

Good God, you mean it's not that?! I'm getting paranoid now about everything I've been mishearing for donkeys years.
