Missing woman Nicola Bulley - inquest (P 158)

The news just said they are searching further up the river.

This case is totally bizarre. If she's gone into the water her body surely would have been found by experienced divers using the best equipment out there.
If she's been murdered or abducted in a ten minute time frame surely there would be signs of a struggle, somebody would have heard raised voices, shouting, something? Baffling.
Unless she knew a potential 3rd party, then no struggle/screams. Like you said baffling.

If they find her upstream then she has either commited suicide or somebody has forced her up there and murdered her.

I alluded to that theory in an earlier post. The phone left on the bench still connected to a conference call, the dog, lead and harness still there, just a ten minute time frame. It all points to something happening very quickly, probably why the police think she fell into the river. If however somebody she knew well shouted to her, or approached her in a panic saying something terrible had happened to someone she loved, she would probably follow them leaving everything behind as that urgency would overide everything else.

Seems bizarre that you would walk any distance away from your phone and dog lead.. just speculating but think most folk would take the phone with them if they were to walk up river to look for the dog or whatever. A lot of speculation about the phone being a decoy. Would be interesting to know what evidence the police do have..

I’m certainly thinking if her body isn’t in the water somewhere and the investigation takes a twist more potential crime any third party being involved then I’m convinced this third party knew Nicola.

It might be someone who she knew but her family didn't, like someone who she met a few times on that walk and petted the dog.

Most murders are committed by somebody known to the person murdered.

It is close to 50/50 according to the homicide data, obviously it needs to be proven in court to be a murder and strangers more likely not to be prosecuted.

So new info out. The police wasn’t contacted straight away. The partner took an hour to phone police when he got information the dog and phone was near the bench but no Nicola.
