Mets still have a heartbeat. Got contributions from everyone tonight. I called for Mendoza to bench Alvarez but he came through tonight although his defense behind the dish is subpar.
Game 6 will be interesting as Manaea starts for the Mets and it’s going to be. Bullpen game for the Dodgers. Off tomorrow and play Sunday evening. Last two games in LA.

On the contrary I think that’s what most would like to see including Fox. East vs west two glamor teams with storied history and both have huge stars.Nobody but their own fans want a Yankees - Dodgers world series do they?

The Mets are City to their duopoly.
The Dodgers and Yankees have the biggest casual/global fanbases by far so I would think Fox would love that matchup.
You occasionally see Mets gear in Japan and Korea but outside somewhat informed baseball fans, I don't think anyone knows we exist.

Watch all the playoff games so far, but gave up half way through last night. I know we still have the advantage but it just takes a Mets win Monday morning and we're in a game we don't really want to be in.

just watched the last three innings of Yankees vs Cleveland. What’s game that was. It’s incredible that these studs closers shit the bed with regularity come the higher pressure playoffs.

All the games in the Mets series have been blowouts. The stat mentioned last night was it’s the only NLCS where in every game there has been a 6 run lead.

Yankees just look frighteningly imposing at the plate. Irrespective of who comes through in the NLCS, it’s going to be a challenge stopping them.

Yankees power-bats, that they pay a shit-ton of money for, come through for them in the end. Outside of that Soto-Judge-Stanton axis, they are bang-average. I hope the Dodgers crush them.
