Posting this here and not the “famous person who died today” thread, because I’m sure hardly anyone outside the US will know if him, but Pete Rose died today.

Great player, not a great person and I actually met him once at a work event and he was a prick.

He seems a prick, asshole and a bully. Never took responsibility for his actions!!

That must have been a heart-wrenching day’s watch for Arizona fans.

Sure it was but I think they knew what was going to happen. After winning the first game in heart stopping manner, Mets got shutout in the second game. Actually the Mets starting pitcher did well. He only gave up one run in six innings. Mets just didn’t hit and think they weren’t too arsed..
