MLB 2024

BTW I hope that wanker who interfered with play not only got tossed but his prize baseball confiscated on the way out. It was soooo close to going out and that would have been the winning run.

Wanks had a tan interference call go their way many years ago. Jeffrey Maier anyone?? If they had replay back then it would have been overturned and they might not have won that game and series. Karma??
Nah that was hitting the wall and coming back in no way was it going over

Have to respect the A’s. Can’t be like Utd fans were to City fans. Oakland totally screwed over by owner after owner of different sport franchises. In fact I need to make sure to support the Roots in USL — they’re all the city has left.
Look let’s be honest here, the A’ s support is appalling. Can’t really blame them if they want to move. The stadium is an absolute dump with no room to grow and no ancillary income for the franchise. Oakland?? It’s like Newark west…

2-0.

Pretty comfortable until the 9th. Yamamoto was great, potential injury for Ohtani though.

Phew.

Been able now to catch up on recordings of game one and two, have to say great entertainment. Loved game one with the drama, errors, fans fucking about and extra innings and a game winning walk off grand slam. Game 2 the scum from N/Y had a chance in the top of the 9th.
As stated I'm sticking with the National league team so hoping some of them Yankee bats don't start popping in the Bronx.
Oh yer what the fuck is this fanny dance about when LA get on base, look like giddy Taylor Swift fans ffs.

Sweep incoming. Yankees flat as a pancake. Men against boys. I love it. Yeah, I’m 100% salty that NY beat my Guardians, but Cleveland would’ve been a much tougher match up for LA and, at least, given them a game with their smallball approach.

All rather disappointing in terms of a series, which is a pity. Yankees look demoralised and unable to shoulder the weight of expectation. That said, the throw from Hernandez to nail Stanton at home plate was a thing of beauty.

Didn’t see any of the game since I had a long day at work and I was up today at 0345. Was Stanton using his zimmerframe when he rounded the bases???
