Modric to the scum

Good player, don't think he'd suit us. Also under contract at Spurs till 2016 so he won't be going anywhere unless they pay a lot more than 25 mil.

Oh I hope this is true and they blow old Baconface out of the water.

French connection: PSG ready to outbid United for Modric

Big-spending Paris Saint Germain have made a move for Tottenham playmaker Luka Modric.

The oil-backed French side could end up wrecking Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson’s hopes of landing Croatia midfielder Modric , as it is believed they are ready to offer £30million-plus.

United have already had a £22m bid knocked back, and Ferguson is growing frustrated in his attempts to land Modric.

PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti has identified Modric as one of his top targets this summer, and had scouts at Croatia’s Euro 2012 win over the Republic of Ireland on Sunday.

Tottenham refused to sell Modric last summer when Chelsea targeted him and chairman Daniel Levy is unlikely to allow him to go without a fight this time.

Is no one else annoyed by the fact that Chelsea had a £40M bid rejected last summer and now that whiskey nosed bastard thinks he can get the media to pressure spurs into accepting a lesser deal this time around, if anything Modric has improved as a player.

Would Modric go there? I don't mind Modric going to Utd. it would cost them a lot and rule them out of further big moves in the transfer market. over rated player

PSG will blow the rags out of the water.Think the realisation is sinking in their yet!

Worry not. Remember the last couple of players united got from Spurs cost them £50M (?)

Modric is shte? wtf? You won't be saying that later on in the year if he signs for them, I'd put money on it

He creates nearly as many chances as Silva does and does so from a deeper position.

Utd will play him further up the pitch and his assists will skyrocket (esp with playing with Rooney rather than Defoe/Ade)

Creates nearly as many chances, give me a break

Silva 6 goals 17 assists
Modric 4 goals 4 assists

No contest

You read my post, right?

I said nearly as many chances. I didn't say he got nearly as many assists. As I said, playing for Utd he would get more assists.

Can't see Aguero on there either. Doesn't mean anything.

You're a shit poster, pal.

Don't abuse me and call me pal in the same sentence, you aren't my pal.
Oh and the debate was about Modric so why are you bringing Aguero up, not trying to deflect are you by any chance?

Your comments about chances are flawed and laughable.

Just dont get this Bale obsession

For a supposidly "world class" player - monket boys performances this season have been distinctly average - he did not stand out in the Spurs team and did not influences games on a consistent basis

The transfer fee plus wages would be similar to Aguero a player whose performances and match winning goals and consistent high level of performances made the difference as did Yaya - Vinny and Hart

Bale has shown fook all other than a few games in the CL against Inter.

Completely agree with this - Guy i work with is a Yid fan, and he be the first one to tell you that he's over rated and that if anyone ofers decent money then he'd like to see him sold and two or three decent players brought to replace him

if we're looking for someone that sits in barry's place with a good passing range then i think modric would fit and improve the team , i like barry but we want to upgrade in that area if im not mistaken , plus he can fill in incase yaya got injured .

if we want a more defensive player then go for de rossi .
