Kolarov certain starter in my opinion, but doubt Vinny will make it. He'd need games under his belt.Been out for too long to just slot back in.I have a feeling this is a game that will see Vinnie back and if so I can see Kolorov alongside him
Weren't they the crowd that got a chasing off the Nordies and the Poles? Remember laughing hearing about that.True lol, this lot were out in force during the Euros, they kicked off with N.I. and the Poles, had a go at English and Russians as well
Just giving a heads up to travelling blues who are staying there, it's a great place i'm sure but just be careful, don't want bevvied up blues wandering about and getting set upon
I don't know, losing 6-4 would be funny in it's own way (as long as their 6th goal was the last kick of the game). As long as we score only one less than Monaco , I don't care.
Barcelona I'd be confident enoughBarcelona
Real Madrid
Bayern Munich
Borussia Dortmund
Atletico Madrid
Juventus
Sevilla
Manchester City
Sevilla are 5 points clear of Atletico Madrid! They seem like a better team now than the one we faced last time. Probably the easiest draw, should we progress, but I don't know about comfy!Barcelona I'd be confident enough
Real Madrid Tough game but wouldn't write us off
Bayern Munich Nothing new here, would be close
Borussia Dortmund We'd beat these, as bad defensively as Monaco and not as dangerous
Atletico Madrid Do not want
Juventus Do not want
Sevilla I think this would be a comfy tie
They're doing better in the league but imo Atleti are far more dangerous to us in a knockout tie. Sevilla need to dominate to play well and we wouldn't let them, Atleti would be happy out soaking up the pressure and hitting us on the break as would Juve. I'd rather avoid the counter punching teams as we haven't dealt well with them this season (Celtic, Chelsea, Leicester).Sevilla are 5 points clear of Atletico Madrid! Yeah if you track back through the conversation you'll find it was conditional to getting a result on Wednesday.Errr perhaps we should get past Wednesday first .
Once we're in the QF anyone will give us a game, there isn't an easy draw.
*adds jinxy fucker's name to list for lynch mob in case of bad result*I'm very confident of winning this match. In fact, I think we will win comfortably
Been having a discussion on the Monaco tkts thread about the notorious...i kid you not....Nice Ultras, just a heads up to any blues staying in Nice to keep your wits about you, this lot nicknamed BSN or Brigade Sud Nice are the most violent firm in the whole of France and hate the English
Not sure but another poster on the Monaco tickets thread said he was there with Northern Ireland and the Nice Ultras were coming at them and the Poles from all directions and then vanishing
Google Nice Ultras it's all there, this BSN mob are outlawed in France , to belong to it or displaying their banners can land you in jail, their leader is looking at 7 years after being arrested in February
The potential for Nasri to score the winner for them would worry me. That would be absolutely horrendous. But I agree other than that they'd be a great draw (assuming we get through). I think Leicester would be a terrible draw for us if they manage to knock Sevilla out.Sevilla I think this would be a comfy tie
2 of there goals were just long ball over top so yaya was or wouldn't be the problem. Basic defending would sort out our main problems.Worried about this.
Probably due to the first leg, 2 goal lead doesn't seem to be that much in a team as suicidally attacking as ours were.
I'm hoping we'll go for the 4-1-4-1 with Yaya/Silva/De Bruyne as the Yaya/Fernandinho/Silva or De Bruyne combination doesn't work as well for me and isn't very balanced. These are the types of games where we miss Gundogan.
Think this game hinges on which Yaya will turn up. We need to cool, professional ball player who will press when he needs to rather than the lazy mard-arse who sits huffing on the ground when we're getting attacked. If we win can keep the ball in centre mid our wide players will hang them out to dry again.
Our centre halves taking up a staggered line would sort both (one challenges while the other drops in behind to cover).2 of there goals were just long ball over top so yaya was or wouldn't be the problem. Basic defending would sort out our main problems.
