Agreed Stones played a great pass to set up our opener - I think his distribution is getting better and better, once he gets a little wiser on the one on ones he will be some player.
 
Apparently it was the official who stands by the goal that called the penalty decision against Otta.
 
Sane and Sterling are getting better with every game. Sane is becoming my favourite player, but Sterling seems like he's finally and very quickly learning off everyone around him now. His decision making is light years ahead of what it was a few months ago and his final ball is as good as our two magicians at times.

I'd be tempted to try Dinho at CB instead of Ota in the next match..

Their defence was just as good as I thought it might be. Pity ours was similar, but thank the Lord for our forwards. Can we make as many errors defensively again ever, this season, let alone the return tie?

Oh, and at Sergio's booking I thought Uefa had one of their placemen with the whistle from the same school of reffing as that Swedish canute we had a few seasons ago who sprinted off the pitch at the end as Mario was hauled down for nothing. Only difference then was that I think Mario didn't get booked for diving. WAFC was that ref!
 
We need to track down the post match interviewer, flay the ****, give him a vinegar bath, let him heal with no skin and then finish the fucking cockroach off with a cheesegrater.
