Monaco post match

Look at the first one : As I said, Jardim outclassed Pep. Pressing stones and bot sides back all game long to let Willy and Otamendi do the first pass.
On the first goal, willy does a really bad pass, who lead to an easy pass from silva to fabinho, and a perfect assist by fabi.

Dunno how you can blame your def on both Mbappe And Falcao second's goals, who were just brilliant.

Yes he is 18 YO, but no one could have def this against this guy.
Yes, Falcao isn't anymore the one from Atletico Madrid, but he isn't neither Valere Germain. Stones, played it well, take the advantage from Rademel on the shoulder, but Falcao knew where the ball was while Stones was still looking for it.
Could have been more than 3 without a really good Caballero. And Falcao's ego.

Not a pen.

Its one day after the game guys, just be honnest and fair to discuss.

You're starting to get on my tits. We are being honest. It was a clear penalty. Even the Manchester United supporting gimp in the TV studio, who hates us, couldn't believe it wasn't given! The claim that he was already falling is total and utter bullshit. And to say your second goal was brilliant and not due to awful defending is a joke. It was just a long hoof over the top and Stones and Otamendi were asleep.
Oh and there's a reason some of your players weren't at their best, and it isn't because they were injured or whatever excuses you've got. It's cos they were up against top players like Silva, Ya Ya, Sane and KDB, masters at keeping the ball, rather than the cannon fodder you face each week in Ligue 1. Monaco are a really good side and have some great players, and I'd happily take Bernardo Silva, Mbappe and the two full backs off your hands, but that doesn't automatically mean you were unlucky last night. You lost to a marginally better side, exactly as the scoreline indicates

The point of the away goals rule is, if anything, to obviate extra time. If Monaco wins 2-0, they go through. If they win 3-1, they go through. If they win 4-2, they go through. In essence, we've got to hold them to a draw of any sort, or, say 2-1. (Or beat them, hey, anything's possible)

Ah I see.
Thanks. :-)

No it wasn't, geting on your tits or not ^^
The first foul is Aguero diving before the contact.

"The game's rules now state that "Attempts to deceive the referee by feigning injury or pretending to have been fouled (simulation)", must be sanctioned as unsporting behaviour which is misconduct punishable by a yellow card." :)

And actually, Silva, Yaya, Sane and KDB can be top players (they are), and both bakayoko and Sidibe can be injured at the same time. Isn't that crazy? =)

When I say that we weren't at our best it's just a fact, i don't take any credits out of City who deserve the win, even tough a 2 goals advantage is clearly too much in regards most of the game. You got to credits Caballero before your others players, if he didn't stop the penalty, it certainly was over.

Still fucking wumming. The mask keeps slipping when he gets cocky and then he recovers by throwing some spelling mistakes in.

Just ignore mate, i didn't signed in too read comments like that but to discuss about football :)

SERGIO IS NOT A DIVER,THE END

Never said he was overall. I think he is one of -if not the one- the best 9 after Lewi.
But on this action, yes, he dived. "The end".

Thank you and goodbye Inspector Clouseau !

Contact not made yet at all, he's clearly starting to dive. Two feets off the floor, uperside body going down.

Still trying to know why you keep yelling on a clear good decision when you won 5/3 and escape a red card on Otamendi. :)

Calm down Karen, he's just upset because they surrendered the lead, twice (imagine that from the French).

If his little delusions make him feel better, that's absolutely five.

No i'm not, i'm just honnest.
They were some bad call for Man.City (falcao deserve a red), but this was clearly not one of them, and you guys got not a lot to yell about the ref last night. Just say thanks for Otamendi.

I feel terribly proud by the way we played last night. You are Manchester City, we are Monaco, and both team deserved to win yesterday. Makes me proud, not upset, none at all.

Have you ever kicked a ball in your life, pal?

If you don't anticipate contact, you end up planting your feet, and then when some stupid lump of a goalkeeper comes bundling into you you end up with an injury. Anticipating contact isn't a dive you melt.

Firstly, welcome to the forums, its always nice to get an opposing fans views on things.

That said, please make yourself aware of our code of conduct and remember that you are visiting a City site where views will naturally be biased towards our own club.

By all means put your point of view across but please try to do so without resorting to being contrary because you will just come across as a wum or troll and your welcome will be short lived.

BTW, you have some side there, especially going forwards.

If you anticipate the contact, "pal", by diving before the contact, wich he clearly does, it's a simulation, that's all. Kun just had to keep running, the contact would have made itself.

Thanks mate.

I'm maybe using the wrong word, for example, "diving" seems to have a bad connotation, wich is not what i want to say. I just want to say that Subasic is going for the ball, he even touched it, and then made contact wit Aguero, but Aguero start to sell it too early, before the contact, wich, in the rules, is consider as "simulation" like I'd quote above. But i just came to discuss about the wonderfull game, and bring you something about market trade since you got a lot of our players in your short-list, nothing more ;)

And I understand the biased side, I'm too, but one day after and in front of the facts, i don't understand how you can keep sayin things like that.. especially after a 5/3 wonderfull win ;)

Yep, you are definitely using the wrong phrase on here and its an argument you will never win.

On that, move on and try not to discuss the penalty incident anymore as well all know your opinion and its fair to say we dont agree.

Plenty of great moments on display last night to discuss from 2 fantastic football teams.

How can you possibly tell from that photo whether contact has already been made or not, you idiot?! And he's probably got two feet off the floor because he's a) running and b) in the process of being tripped. Time you were a stranger
