Monchengladbach (h) game moved to Budapest

How is it RBL can play their away game at Liverpool but Monchengladbach can't play at the Etihad. They are both German team's so is it just us that are being penalised.

Don’t think the complaint is having to forfeit home advantage. The problem is they have caused us to have to travel long distances twice. Actually further than Germany. We really struggled v West Ham after going to Budapest for the first leg

We go on trips to places Brighton or Southampton that take longer to get to than Budapest.

There are also times when our players have come back from South America on a Thursday, playing internationals, and played for us at the weekend.

We’ll be alright.

Another long trip, this is a joke

In fairness its a 2 hour flight not much difference to a 2 hour train journey to London
if the first leg was in Germany we would have a reason to complain but given the reason if we don't win the tie we have no excuses

The single tie quarter final last year didn’t do us any favours did it....
Two legs tends to favour the better team.

Kind-of agree but then you need to factor in extra games and travelling which isn't helping when we are up for 4 cups

Also recall, that in the last few seasons, we have had 2 games to overcome screw-ups (or being screwed) against Spurs, Scousers, Monaco, and couldn't do it

competition is descending into a farce some teams get home advantage, some teams don’t when they have a home tie.

Over the last few seasons I have seen more farces in the game than were ever staged at The Whitehall Theatre. There'll be plenty more to come from the misgoverning bodies.
