Didn't Moonchester first appear in 1996? I remember the Kappa kits but not Umbro on him before Moonbeam came along. If so, he's not looking bad for his late-twenties.

About right that, Liam who won the competition (his Dad really) to name Moonchester turns 31 in July so would have been about 3 when he was a Junior Blue and entered the competition.

Edit, looks like circa 2000, however scroll down to Marc Riley's column (quite far down) and you can read about the naming of Moonchester and see a photo of my good mate Mick, the one currently receiving treatment for Liver cancer who some have you have posted some good wishes.

Anyone remember these two? Cyril the Swan rips Zampa the Lion's head off during a fight and then drop kicked it into the stand, made all the papers the next day and "Cyril" was fined a bag of sand.
