Nobody cares about the female children of the underclass, least of all the so called progressives in society it seems.

I’d argue most that would think of themselves as progressive would consider authorities not caring as much about victims due to their background incredibly regressive to be fair.

Progressives in general are not angry enough about this, I would argue that it's "Progressives" who have constantly shut down discussion about this issue for decades.

I think the issue is that a lot of so called 'progressives' don't like to learn about anything that might dent their rather rose tinted view of the world so stick their heads in the sand and refuse to accept reality. It's all good and well to be pro-immigration (which I am) but you also have to speak out against views from immigrant communities which are the antithesis of progressive.

Were there any municipal towns or authorities where child abuse, grooming and exploitation wasn't taking place ? The list is seemingly endless - all with a promise that "the lessons will be learned"...yet again.

As they all state that a fear of being accused of racism if they intervened, we have a much bigger problem to deal with.

If you suspect a crime is being committed please report it to the police and let them deal with it.

The police were the big problem, they were prosecuting the children for prostitution if anything historically and some were then jailed for not paying the fines.

The report covered over 40 years, and more recently sited massive cuts to LA and Police after a batch of more prosecutions.

I wouldn’t describe the local authorities in Telford as progressives and they’re the most culpable. Everybody has shut down discussion about it, the report is very clear about just how big the failures were in multiple areas and going back even to the seventies.

No one is angry enough about it, nor are they angry about as many areas and individuals as they should be. I’m not sure focussing solely on one not easy to define group over those specifically called out in the report with actual responsibility overly helps though.

If people just stuck to the facts when reporting something which is a potential crime rather than worrying if their actions 'might' be seen as racist then we wouldn't be here AGAIN.

If you are having to weigh up being seen to be racist against the possibility of a child being abused then you are in the WRONG JOB.
