Sorting out his hoodie? What about the two blokes underneath, are we to guess that they are making monkey noises? Good Lord.

Anyway, I'm sure that it'll come out soon enough. Liverpool need to sort this out, and soon, as they're getting themselves a very, very bad name. Christ, there's some on here who don't even bother to call them the Red Dippers anymore and resort to the Racists! I'm sure it's the same on most football forums.

I think the guy waving is saying "This is how I'd wave if you were on the boat back to whichever country you come from."

Wow, a picture really does tell a good story!

pictures can be very mis-leading.

i don't think we can take that as racism.

I agree entirely that this picture is not conclusive proof of a racist gesture. Pictures can indeed be very misleading.

They can also tell a true story. This image is highly suggestive of a racist gesture. It may be something else entirely, but that's what it looks like to me.

And if it is, there is this point to ponder. That lad is 15-20 years or so younger than everyone else around him. Does anyone think that surrounded by adults he would still perform that kind of gesture - if, of course, he did - if he thought it would be regarded as unacceptable by the people sitting around him?

my theory is the guy in the white cap(or someone very close to him) has said something racist and the kid in front has heard it and being a pig ignorant immature baby has started doing monkey impressions.

I wouldn't be surprised if he'd heard more than one racist comment, and of course, nobody would stand up to question otherwise at the football.

Ruben Hazell's on 5 Live now, speaking very well about the issue. He spoke to Adeyemi directly after the game and made it very clear that something seriously offensive has been shouted at the kid. Having heard Adeyemi's account he's advised him to take it as far as he can. Liverpool are looking at serious grief here.

A 20 year old Aintree man has been arrested tonight on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence following Friday's game.

Merseyside Police @MerseyPolice

A 20 year old Aintree man has been arrested tonight on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence following Friday's game.

Just reading RAWK, a few get just how serious this whole saga has been for LFC, but still many display that famous scouce victim mentality, it's never them they are always innocent of everything.

I bet the owners of the club are thinking what the hell they have let themselves in for, their own fault for turning the running of the club over to the manager, who is ill prepared for the modern day game and all it entails. As absolute public relations disaster and one that has still got more time to run, imagine what it is going to be like when Goofy gets back, opposing fans calling him a raciest them singing in support of said raciest, this is going to get messy

SSN saying that a 20 year old has been arrested on suspsicion of racially abusing Adeyemi.

I would hate it if some knobhead player like Suarez or a knobhead 20 year old fan ever put City in a position like this.

This will stick with them for years and fans, much like ours will love taking the piss about it.

If he's found guilty then I hope the Judge has a few choice words about LFC behaviour leading up to the incident.

had that happened at any other stadium you would think it seems logical as all clubs have their share of knobheads. yet within hours we are informed 1 -he misheard and was actually called a manc bastard 2 - it was a man united fan who infiltrated the kop in order to get them in further trouble 3 - he was hit by coins and no one actually shouted anything . its like they really are the world's greatest fans and anything else is just banter !! with king kenny in charge anfield is becoming the football equivalent of waco ! amazed they have not blamed it on chelsea and the NF. the fact that as a club they have openly supported racism should lead to a charge of disrepute.

RAWK immediately locked the thread when the arrest was made. It was fine when 'Manc ****' theory reigned supreme, but now suddenly no one can talk about it.

They really are a disgusting mess of a club. And some of these fans on RAWK genuinely look like racist apologists. Every time an embarrassing fact comes to light, they shut down discussion while attempting to think of an explanation for it. They have big, big problems as a club and it wouldn't surprise me if this keeps snowballing while the club coddles racist attitudes. Hope to God this doesn't end with a physical attack on a black player, or worse. Were I black, I would never go near Anfield.

as a club they could have dealt with it so much better. the fact that suarez is by far their best and most influential player has influenced their decision to stand up for him. understandable as this is , it will lead to major problems for them on and off the pitch in forthcoming months.

the best thing that player could have done would have been to simply walk off the field of play followed by the rest of the team,it was 5-1 so they were beat anyway that would have draw more attention to the abuse,i hope further players who have sufferd in the past now come out as this cant be a one off
