Just got back, was amusing to see police congratulating everyone on keeping calm and then storming into us all (all sat down) five minutes later, hitting anyone within reach with a baton. Tossers then cried when they got it back, too funny.

Sad bastards. Protesting against the government who allow them to protest in the first place. Even if the student fees are cut, half of these 'degrees' wouldn't even qualify you to be a shoe shiner.

I've been on a part time night course for 2 years and sent my ucas application of yesterday, I left school with no gcse's and didn't go to college, had 3 kids at 21 and 3 years later, I'm living on a skitty council estate, never even dreamt I could go uni, now I'm set to finish my course in law with a distinction and will hopefully be a barrister in the next 10 years. If I have to pay 9000 a year for three years if it means me earning 50000 a year after, it seems fair to me.

The ones moaning are the ones doing useless degrees who know for a fact their future vocations are about as well rewarding as a kick in the balls. And uni is a privilege, not a right. If you don't agree with the cost, don't go. Proves that half of these students are more bothered about debt than actually taking pride in getting a degree. Money can't buy pride. So fuck their protests, and fuck them.
