more thrown out

You just have to look at how the Ref was escorted off at half time surrounded by Stewards and Police.

The people that run football have completely lost the plot.

In Germany if this happened the fans would have blocked the exits.

In this country they watch the injustice and vent their anger on an internet forum hours after a game.

We are part of the problem for not standing up for ourselves, it's got to the stage of no return now and we happily take what we are given. Sad.

Exactly.

It's about time people took a stand.

The problem with this is people have supported city all there lives and most of it has been through thin rather than thick, and now the good times are here people don't want to get a ban, they know there is a waiting list and someone will snap up there season ticket in a heart beat, so some fans now would rather take the Shit and watch city win trophies than get banned, can't blame them one bit, all I will say is this would not have happened at Maine road

The worst of it is, years ago fans were ripping season tickets up and throwing them on the pitch and the club were sending them new ones out in the post, they needed us then, now unfortunately they don't, that is why bans are on the increase, in the old north stand the stewards would turn a blind eye to almost anything, now if your fart stinks you are kicked out for causing offence to those around you

that's not strictly true. I know someone who sat in the north stand who got a 3 year ban on the basis that on one occasion he flicked the v's to opposition fans/the other he mimicked a
cut throat gesture.

Yeah I can see that, I'm not making out I'm any different, but the longer we all turn a blind eye the more chance we've got of being the next victim.

Today is Rememberance Day. "If you're reading this I'm kicking it with the big guy".. from a letter a young soldier wrote to his parents to read if he died and unfortunately he did. I watched the festival of rememberance on the BBC last night and a few things stood out, it was incredibly sad but empowering. So, so sad, but there wasn't a sense of poor us or victimisation. Just a sense of togetherness and unity and more than anything, a need for hope.

This poor old us routine doesn't wash..or just feels wrong today.

People either like us or they don't, but you don't get thrown out of a stadium for nothing, there isn't a big session before hand of security guards looking to single out City fans. Can they be too over the top, too picky? Ya. But there's a thing known as picking your battles and this isn't one worth fighting over. Is it unfair, ya. But so is life.

Like I said, and I know it's not fair to put one situation up against the other, but this poor old us routine that some of us have going, when really you consider just how fortunate we are, is tiring to say the least.
It's bearable most days, but not today.

the trouble is they know who everyone is, controll says seat 220 row 3 and up comes mr smith they way to fuk em up is for everyone just to pick random seats

Don't get me wrong I agree with you all the way, all I am saying is it is much easier for the club to ban fans now there is a waiting list, and most fans have waited many years to see us have a team that can compete for trophys and don't want to miss out because of a knob head showsec employee

Does the guy who pretended to have some sort of attack last year still go?
Was all over Youtube and a few newspapers ran the story - conviniently missing out the bit where the paramedics checked him over and then just stood there waiting for him to get up as there was nothing wrong with him

:-D

great idea! i would i know many who would also back this.

Agree:
However, a bigger issue for me is you have no right of appeal to 'put your view across' when you have been thrown out or have received a banning letter. You automaticaly get banned and then have to grovel to the club to get your card back. In most instances when the club say you are banned they expect an apology, then give you a 3 match ban then make you sign a order saying you will 'not mis-behave again'
Flechter treats us fans like criminals, no right of appeal, automatic ban!!

fletcher is judge and jury but however if you received a 3 match ban on the grounds you were smoking they would have to have video evidence for it to stand up in any court any fan would easy win a county court case for the lost games

after being kicked out of the swansea game on the 85th minute for standing in a spare seat by my mate i have had no chance to appeal my automatic 3 match ban, fletcher is impossible to get in touch with. i got a letter asking me to apologise to him i did n he sent me the most patronising letter i have ever recieved. once i have finished my pursuit in a refund for the games im banned for ill post all the letters on here showing what this peter fletcher is like...
we are being treated like naughty school boys it's out of order, there is no real voice for the fans apart from the fans (apart from FSF but there is only so much they can do) our self we need to act with our feet.
they seem to forget watching football is not a crime !!!!
