more thrown out

As the person known as the "old man" i was sent out of the ground just before halftime about 1 year ago and banned for 3 matchs .

Looking at these comments and previous comments i do not think much if anything has changed in respect of Show Sec and MCFC policys .

Can you briefly summarise what happened to you that day?

There was an incident in the family stand yesterday as well. 3 lads made their way to their seats, one of them quite openly carrying a bottle of fosters he'd brought down for from the concourse.

I suspect they were day trippers, as I've never seen them before, and they weren't wearing any colours, but clearly the guy didn't know he wasn't allowed to drink in his seat, as he made no attempt to hide the booze.

The steward took the bottle off him...there was no aggro or cross words exchanged as far as I could see.Next thing a yellow jacketed guy comes to the end of the row and asks him for a word, he obliged and followed him up the steps to the concourse, looking a bit sheepish, clearly expecting a "don't do it again"

After about a few minutes one of his mates goes up to see what is going on, returns and shouts to his mate "they've chucked him out, come on we're leaving". They only got to see 10 minutes or so of the match.

There was no aggression shown by any of the lads, or to be fair the stewards, and yes the lad did break the rules, but a bit of common sense could and should have prevailed in my opinion..we have a decent rapport with the stewards in our block, but this kind of thing immediately creates a climate of mistrust.

There was also somebody kicked out for smoking an electronic cigarette in 101. I didn't even know they were not allowed and the guy who had it certainly didn't. Surely a quiet word would have sufficed.

not everyone knows evey rule, it is crazy not to mention dangerous not to use some common sense when a rule is breached , i personally would kick the shit out of a steward who reacted like they have in some of these posts ,

Don't know if it's been posted but a lad was escorted up the steps from in front of me in 111, he came back but a few minutes later the steward returned and took him again, the lad never came back to his seat. From my drunken memory i think i seen two lads chucked out from 111 yesterday and the lad in front of me that was chucked out is a regular.

If you are ejected then follow the advice advice from the FSF.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.fsf.org.uk/media/uploaded/Deighton%20Guedalla.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.fsf.org.uk/media/uploaded/De ... edalla.pdf</a>

Stewards
In a similar way, sometimes stewards overstep the mark and treat
supporters poorly – being threatening or using unnecessary or excessive
force, for example.
If this happens whoever employs the stewards is legally responsible. It
may be the club who employ them or they may be employed by a separate
company, but whoever the employer is, like the police, they can be sued in
the civil courts for compensation if stewards employed by them behave
badly.
Again, if you are treated badly by stewards let the FSF know and we can
put you in touch with solicitors who can give you initial advice, without fee
or obligation.
For more information on how the FSF can help you email
Amanda.jacks@fsf.org.uk or call 0330 44 000 44.

Swamp Fletcher with compensation claims. Make work for him, his office. Make requests for the information his team are using and do it formally. If, as has been suggested, video evidence has been used to identify someone demand to see it. If you get no response then send the same request to the Chief Exec.

First showsec came for the drunks.
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't drunk.

Then Fletcher decided to cull anyone who stood up.
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't stood up.

Then they began to indiscriminantly beat disabled fans.
and I didn't speak out because I'm not disabled.

Then they came for me.
and there was no one left to speak for me because I'd watched the piss get well and truly taken.
